Popular social media commentator, Martins Otse, alias VeryDarkMan (VDM), has go ahead to announced the recovery of ₦78 million out of the ₦180 million allegedly stolen from his NGO's account.

Last Friday, VeryDarkMan raised an alarm on Instagram, revealing that his organization's account had been hacked, resulting in the loss of ₦180 million. While some expressed skepticism, others offered support.

In a follow-up video shared on Instagram Sunday, VeryDarkMan expressed gratitude for the progress made and outlined the next steps in the investigation.

"I appreciate those who checked up on me," he said. "I also thank God for the progress so far. We've recovered ₦78 million. The suspect claimed his accomplice has fled to Ghana, so we'll hopefully be pursuing leads there soon."

The recovery of the stolen funds is a welcome development, and many are eagerly awaiting further updates on the investigation.
